Now 1981 a very big year for Tony. Not only did he advance in art work career enough to leave welfare or any other government assistance far behind him. Most importantly, his hard work and personality caught the eye of an Angel-Peggy Shaw from Orange Park, FL.  This magnificent event in his life happened at the Jacksonville Civic Auditorium, during an awareness fair. By the second day a beautiful romance blossomed and an eternal love was sealed in marriage on March 5th exactly 5 months to the day they first met.

Tony says, " She's my Angel because no human could do all the things she does without GOD's help". She's the 24 hr physical attendant, which in itself is a full time job.  Not to mention a lover, helpmate, driver, artwork matter and framer, manager, organizer, cook, cleaner. In addition to everything else she also fulfills her  commitments as a loving wife and Mother. She was truly sent from heaven, and my mission in life of "Never Give Up" wouldn't exist without her."
Some of the most joyful moments in his life are being with his two children. Their beautiful daughter Melissa Sue born on Feb. 6th
1983 is truly a blessing from heaven. Tony being born with a very rare birth defect, always was a little skeptical of having children-much less the thought of any being born normal. Still having a deep desire to have a typical family life, to become a father, Tony trusted in the Lord. A
Miracle, Dream and Hope was born. Not even a full year into their marriage, Tony was a father. Which gave him all the blessing, joys and
responsibilities that comes with being a parent.  Tony says, "The first time I held any baby in my own arms was the proudest moment in my life, this baby was my very own daughter Melissa!  It's a memory I will never forget. Over nine years had passed and our family was blessed again with another truly heavenly gift, a son. Richard Dean Anthony, on Aug. 25th 1992. Both our kids were born physically normal. Wow time fly's! Blessings have expanded my family to another generation, because now I'm a proud GRANDPA!

Tony, has no idea what his life would be like if his arms and legs were normal, however he couldn't even imagine life without his
beautiful of a wife, children and grandkids. Experiencing miracles throughout his life, shows us all that the most important thing in life-is
our belief in GOD. Who is the creater of all Life.
